And several aeons later another mac mini

The first mac mini I bought was in 2006 and after some H.264 processing on a slow processor with iLife, it promply was relegated to oblivion as I bought a  DELL system at half the price with double the processing power. This was after I'd popped the mini open with putty knives (WTH) and packed in 4GB RAM (plenty then, plenty more dough had I done that at the apple store).  Anyways I digress form the latest one I bought off a DL, preowned and drove me nuts while I tried figuring out the Mavericks install - my previous guy wiped it and handed me a USB with disk utilities that failed me at the apple store authentication level when I tried to install Mavericks - no purchase proof of Mavericks. Finally after a long conversation with the apple tech support, was only able to resolve it with a  tip from my seller - Command + R to remote restore - Lion. About time! Then a timemachine timeshot and started the Mavericks upgrade before retiring for the day.

Happy dreams of making a million bucks from a silly beer pour app.Not. But went through the Swift videos and pitied the fools who code in anything other than C#. Swift did have some cool stuff which after the distance of a day and under the influence of the red wine I just swilled I forget :)
